Caring Hearts Legacy Society
Those who thoughtfully give a gift to Cancer Action through their will or estate planning are very special people. They help ensure that Cancer Action can continue to provide the vital services and support those living with, through and beyond cancer throughout the Kansas City area need today and in the future. Those who thoughtfully leave a legacy gift help secure tomorrow for Cancer Action and the thousands of cancer patients we serve.
Gifts can be made in many different ways, through simply leaving a bequest in a will or trust, or other financial means like an insurance policy or retirement account. Hearing the words “you have cancer” turns your world upside down. When a person hears those words, they have no idea where that journey will take them, and what to expect along the path. They only know the course of their life has been changed, altered, placing them on an unexpected, demanding, scary and often very long journey with many twists and turns. They need a place to turn for guidance, support and help to meet the many challenges cancer brings to their life. For six decades Cancer Action has been the place that cancer patients in our community turn to when the burdens are too heavy.
We are there to offer support throughout their cancer journey ensuring they are not alone during this difficult time. We couldn't do it without you!
